Ditch your artificial plastic flowers and replace them with
these cute and artistic crochet flowers!

ch - chain sc - single crochet
sl - slip stitch
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
inc - increment (2 sts in the same ch)

Cotton or Acrylic yarn - 1.5 mm Crochet Hook (Depending of your yarn) - Sewing Needle
- Flower wire #22, 24 or 26 -

Round 1:
14 c
|
|
Round 2:
4 sc, 8 hdc, 3 sc inc in last st, turn,
8 hdc, 4 sc
|

Round 3:
sc + 1 ch, insert wire, sc in same st
and make sure to carry the wire along with every
st
|
|
Round 3
continues:
5 sc, 3 hdc, 3 dc, 1 dc inc, 1 dc 1 hdc inc, 2 dc
inc, turn,
1 hdc 1 dc inc, 2 dc inc, 3 dc, 3 hdc, 6 sc, sl
Leave a tail of 6 inches approx and cut the
yarn. Cut the wire if needed, then twine up the
leftover yarn around the wires. To hold the end,
insert the yarn in between the wires.

Decoration (optional):
You may decorate the interior using an stronger
color, and sewing a line in the middle of the
petal.

Make 5 of them. |
STAMEN>>>
|
|
|
Twine:
Twine up the yarn in the middle of the wire,
then fold it.
|
|
Hold:
Then join both ends of the wire and keep
twineing up for approx 1.5 inches. Cut the yarn
and hold it between the wires.

Make 3 of them.
Next, using your petal's yarn color, twine the
yarn around to hold the 3 of them together.
Leave a long tail of yarn, as you'll need it to
assemble the flower and create a stem.

ASSEMBLY>>>
|
|
|
Grab five of the petals around
and insert the stamens in the center. Then twine
around all of them tightly using your
stamen's leftover yarn.
When you get to the end of the stem, cut and use
some silicone or glue.

Arrange your petals and stamens so they look a
little curvy and smooth.
